Pois, mas eu acho que as pessoas vão contar claro! Não dá para guardar este tipo de segredos! Se bem que, no ano passado, penso que houve gente embirrenta que disse "Ah eles pediram para não contar, por isso não conto!" :/ As minhas amigas estão lá pelo menos e elas contam-me e eu depois conto-vos xD

Before I go on, there will be no details from the actual episode shown tonight at the BFI except to say it was the first of a two-parter and ended, naturally, on a cliffhanger. We promised to 'keep the magic secret' so you'll just have to enjoy the anticipation a little longer.

So this is the Q&A - as much as I could scribble down and remember that is. From the cast Angel Coulby, Katie McGrath and Colin Morgan all appeared after the screening. They had arrived only half an hour before the screening was due to start because of traffic problems and were whisked straight into press briefings.

Bradley was due to attend but is ill and Colin in fact attended in his place having been filming today. Anthony Head is filming in the US and has already shot all his scenes and Richard Wilson was in Cardiff filming but sent a filmed message saying 'hello' and promising to send a few of the minor character along to see us. Such a wag.

They were still finishing the first episode at 2.30pm this afternoon so it was literally the first time the cast and most of the crew had seen it.

Q&A

There is more green screen/CGI work this series which the producers believe gives the series more of an epic feel. Katie apparently spends most of her filming time in a green box and Colin says it takes a lot of imagination as an actor.

Katie says she couldn't play Morgana if she didn't love her and agree with everything she does.

"You do see the vulnerable side to her at the beginning. I didn't want her to be just a boo-hiss villain. Yes she might be a bit misguided!"

"With Morgana there isn't anything that would make her happy, it's about revenge. She's hurting and wants revenge"

Series has got darker and Merlin isn't the naive character he was at the beginning - a bit of suspense is what the fantasy genre trades on.

Q What is the average day like for an actor on Merlin?

Colin: "Start shooting at 7/7.30am which means pick up is around 6am then straight into hair and make up if it's in the studio or if on location then might have a pick up at 5/5.30am. Film all day then get back to hair and make up/costume at 7pm so home by 8pm."
Katie: "Boys take a lot longer getting out of their costumes and having make up taken off than the girls especially the Knights."

Q What is the biggest challenge the cast have faced while filming?

Colin: "When you are in the middle of a forest in Wales and it's raining it makes it difficult to act and difficult for everyone. The pace (of filming) and managing time is also challenging."

Q Best moment?

Katie: "Filming in France and it was extremely hot and was in a heavy costume but all the crew took their tops off so behind the camera there were load of topless men!"

Q How do you come up with the different creatures?

Producers: "Combination of books and Google but do find yourselves having bizarre conversations and one day realised we were having a heated argument about pixie dust."

Q What other character would you like to play if you could?

Katie: "Gwaine because I want his hair"

Colin: "Dragon"

Angel: "Arthur because of all the fighting he does and I'm always going on about fighting"

Q Which episode would you live through for real if you could?

Colin: "The first episode when I arrive at Camelot and am so amazed by everything"

Katie: (Without hesitation) "When I'm crowned Queen of Camelot"

Q What is your most embarrassing moment while filming?

Colin: "I had to run out of a room while looking behind me and I ran straight into a cupboard and broke the door."

Katie: "I always fall spectacularly in a completely un-elegant and un-Morgana way, in a clumsy Katie way."

Angel: "I'm quite a good rider and had a scene where I had to get on a horse and ride off. Crew offered me a box for the mount but I refused it thinking could do it fine but after the third or fourth take thought I should probably take the box."

Producers: "Rupert who plays Sir Leon is a walking blooper reel."

And that was the end of the questions although they did reveal two things:

1. They are in discussions about making a film version

2. John Hurt gets friends (believe this has already slipped out at a press conference over the summer though).

The cast were heading straight back to Cardiff for filming tomorrow.

Não me acredito que toda a gente consiga ficar calada em relação a isto lol xD As minhas amigas nem devo falar com elas hoje A Roxanne esteve de férias na Polónia e veio ontem de propósito para vir á BFI e acho que nem dormiu nada xD por isso só amanhã é que falo com ela... A Joanne ainda não apareceu na net, mas ela amanhã trabalha cedo... Não estou á espera que elas digam alguma coisa hoje mas enfim.
Entretanto de certeza que vão aparecer mais cenas por aí eu estou atenta xD

Sim, do Dragão eu desconfiava porque no início da Season 3 houve uma conversa com o Julian Jones (acho que foi com este Julian e não o Julian Murphy xD 2 Julians e depois dá confusão xD) e ele tinha dito que eles discutiam muito sobre a possibilidade de introduzirem um ovo de dragão na série! Se calhar não vai ser um ovo, mas o Kilgarrah não está mesmo sozinho, ele pensa que é o último da espécie dele mas afinal.... e vê-se que eles já andavam a pensar nisto há algum tempo
